Friends of Woods Memorial Park March Restoration Event
Join the Friends of Woods Park every 4th Saturday in removing invasive non-native species, including English ivy, clematis, and Himalayan blackberry. Native plantings and trail work are done on a seasonal basis.Tools, gloves and snacks provided. Please dress for the weather, wear sturdy, closed toed shoes and bring a water bottle.This is a family-friendly event and all ages are welcome but children must be supervised by an adult. From I-5 north, take exit 294 towards Barbur Blvd. Turn right onto SW Barbur Blvd. In 1.2 miles turn right onto Taylor's Ferry Rd.Turn right onto SW 48th Ave. Turn right onto SW Woods Parkway.
Meet at the Stairway Trail entrance off SW Woods Pkwy. Parking is available at the SW 45 entrance by the gate.
