Old Canemah Park Ivy Pull

This project involves invasive plant ( english Ivy) removal in a portion of Historic Old Canemah Park. This event is for a planned shared use path that will link the McLoughlin Pomade Park to the Canemah Bluff Natural Area. Check in begins at 8:30 AM with the work project beginning at 9:00 AM. OCPF and the Oregon City Parks Department will provide bottled water, coffee and snacks. Please bring cutting tool such as hand pruners if you have them.

    From Hwy 99E, take 2nd Avenue, right on South End Road, right onto 5th Avenue, into Miller St, right on 4th Ave into Ganong St, right on 3rd Ave into Old Canemah Park entrance.

  • Meeting Spot

    Some parking is available at Old Canemah Park. Other parking is available at the south entrance of the McLoughlin Promenade park by the Three Rivers VFW Hall, 104 Tumwater Dr, Oregon City ( from 99E, take 2nd Ave, next left as you pass the Highland Stillhouse pub on to Tumwater Dr, then down a block and right up the driveway to the VFW Hall). There will be someone there to direct you to the project site. Volunteer meeting place:: The Old Canemah Park, parking lot.
