Port to Port Yaquina River Cleanup

The project will be part of the U Da Man Fishing club's public service works. The project involves using boats to collect trash from the Port of Newport to the Port of Toledo which would otherwise be unrecoverable (not reachable by land). Club members will use their private boats to recover litter along the shore-lines and the waterway. If you own a boat or would like to participate in the project as an individual volunteer, please contact the Project Coordinator, Steve Barham at 520-465-7012. All volunteers will need to coordinate with Steve to determine their check-in location and other details. Staging areas and drop site will be at one or both of the Ports. There will likely be a Post event celebration. Activities include: Litter Cleanup.
