PLANTS: the good, the bad, & the ugly. Get down & dirty and help us plant native, coast strawberry for a ground OR just stop by to learn about invasive species and native alternatives. You may also pick up a brochure for a self-guided tour highlighting some of the interesting people buried in the cemetery. Activities include: None, self-guided tour of the cemetery.

  • Directions

    From US 101, head west on Ingersoll Ave. (Turn just north of Wendy's) Continue for five blocks and turn right (north) into the Marshfield High School parking lot.

  • Meeting Spot

    There is plenty of parking in the Marshfield High School main lot. Please park on the west (school) side of the parking lot, since we will be working on the east (cemetery) side of the parking lot. Registration will be at the entrance to the cemetery. In case of rain (or wind), it will in the entrance area of the Main Gym.

    No minimum age

  • If available please bring

    If possible, please bring your own work gloves and a small trowel for planting the bare root strawberries, the primary work project. We can always use assistance trimming and weeding cemetery plots, so if you would prefer to work on that, we welcome people with weeders or string trimmers.
